The iPhone team is looking for an engineering project manager with strong system software fundamentals, excellent communication skills, and a desire to work with an amazing team to develop ground-breaking products. Every individual on our team makes a clear difference to the product. This role includes working with our engineering teams to define, schedule, track and communicate status of all work taking place within those teams. Facilitating communication between groups is essential.

Specific Responsibilities:
Work with our developer tools engineering team to define new features and drive and track progress. Understand new technology as it comes together and help track and facilitate any cross functional tasks that are needed. Facilitating communication between groups is critical. Ability to drive and track issues and tasks and prioritize on a daily basis is a requirement.

This job requires outstanding communication skills to work cross functionally with other organizations. Understanding of developer tools and what it takes to put together an SDK is a requirement. Understanding Mac OS X development is a plus. This is a great opportunity for a project manager that is also very interested in the technology and wants to help drive and deliver iPhone and the iPhone SDK.

Skills, Education and Experience Required:

• BS/MS EE/CS/CE or equivalent.
• Good understanding of SDK development.
• Self-motivated and pro-active with demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

Desired skills/experience:

• Good understanding of Mac OS X.
• Unix programming/scripting experience or equivalent.

• Software release experience.
