Huge Symbian Development Project!! 12 people for 6 month contract!
at Kelly IT Resources in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina
Kelly IT Resources is looking for twelve (12) individuals to contribute to a Symbian development project in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina! This is a minimum six-month contract starting in late October, 2009.
We need different people with varied skill sets so please read on!
Objective:
Contract
2 development engineers to analyze and create detailed Symbian software requirements
1 Symbian software architect
7 development engineers to write, integrate and deliver Symbian software
2 test engineers to create and execute Symbian software test cases
Overview:
Implementation of mobile phone requirements in a product based on the Symbian operating system. Work is expected to be in the upper layers involving either application and/or framework development.
Scope:
Requirement Analysis
Software Feasibility and Design
Software Development
Software Test
Software Integration and Delivery
Software Maintenance
Technical Skills:
Ability to:
analyze functional requirements
identify subsequent technical requirements
perform feasibility study of requirements, including a work breakdown structure
prepare design documents
provide SW development resource impact analysis
provide SW development time impacts
identify SW development dependencies
provide technical input to software delivery planning
Soft Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
The ability to communicate technical details at a high level
The ability to follow up on tasks without constant supervision
Experience:
Architect should have at least 4 years of experience. Engineers and Testers should have 2-4 years of experience.
All positions require Expert Symbian development skills
Tester positions require Expert Symbian unit and function test skills and experience with ClearCase and ClearQuest
Previous experience with DOORS, FocalPoint and Mercury Quality Center helpful
Previous experience working in a global software development environment helpful
Time schedule:
Six Month Assignment
Type of assignment:
Full-time, In-House Assignment (no telecommuting)
