J2ME Game Developer
at Ricardo Flores in Lisbon, Portugal
Biodroid Productions is seeking talented J2ME Developer to work with our game development team to develop titles for top handsets supported by carriers worldwide. The ideal candidate for this position will have solid experience programming in Java and J2ME, be able to effectively multi-task, hit deadlines and produce high-quality code.
You’ll be …
• Developing and Adapting games to different platforms and mobile devices
• Working on existing projects and maintain a high standard of quality
• Optimizing code for memory use and application size
• Ensuring timely delivery of titles to our carrier partners
• Actively participating in team meetings
What you need to bring to the table…
• Strong academic and/or hands on work experience with J2ME
• Ability to quickly comprehend existing code
• Innovative problem solving skills to address the varying issues and restrictions of mobile handsets
• Strong English communications skills
• Passion for gaming
And you’ll really rock if you have…
• B.Sc. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent
• Brew, or BlackBerry experience is an asset
• Knowledge of C++, OpenGL
