APPLICATION/SOFTWARE ARCHITECT (PROGRAMMER ANALYST III)

Idéeclic, www.ideeclic.com, a pioneer in development of online museum and cultural projects, is looking for
a Web savvy application/software architect to join its R&D team in the design, development and
management of applications/software (on-line, off-line and mobiles).
MISSION
The application/software architect is responsible of architecture tasks relating to software solutions,
Web services and technical solutions (including infrastructures). The role consists on choice,
integration, development and operation of various software components.
He will ensure design, development and management of our cartographic multiplatform application.
PERSONNALITY AND ABILITIES
University degree in computer sciences with at least 8 years of work experience (or an equivalent
combination of education and work experience) including:
• 4 years in planning, designing and developing applications/software ;
• 4 years in web and SOA or SaaS development ;
• 2 years as technical architect ;
• 2 years of applied use of software development methodologies.
You are rigorous, autonomous, dynamic, persuasive and with an ability to understand users.
You are fervent of new technologies.
You have a solid background in applications/software development/shipping/support methodologies.
EXPERTISE
OOP, PHP4/PHP5, MySQL, HTML/XHTML, XML/XSLT, CSS, Javascript, AJAX
Cocoa Touch and/or BlackBerry development platform and/or Android
KNOWLEDGE
PEAR, C/C++, ASP.NET, Java, JSP, Apache, IIS, SVN, MS SQL, ORACLE, Flash/AS3, accessibility
standards (W3C), SOAP/REST

ROLE AND TASKS
• Participating in evaluating and planning projects at the Request for Proposal stage.
• Participating in evaluating business, functional and technical requirements.
• Writing specifications.
• Planning and supervision of tasks.
• Analysing and designing application/software architecture.
• Realization of feasibly analysis on chosen solutions.
• Designing databases.
• Developing and optimizing applications/software.
• Developing test plans.
• Testing and optimizing implemented applications.
• Checking of the performance and the quality of applications.
• Realization of the analysis in order to advice new services, equipment, software, solutions,
configurations of servers, requests and other adjustments aiming to correct and/or optimize
performance.
• Writing technical documentation (design, tests plan & results, process, etc.).
• Level 2 support to users of developed applications/software.
