Mobile Designers – Multiple OS (Toronto)

Our client, a mutual fund based in Uptown Toronto, requires the services of a Mobile Designer for an immediate short-term assignment. The company is in the process of developing a mobile application and requires the skills of an experienced Mobile Designer to help with the design work currently being managed by an external vendor who is also doing the back-end development on the application. To facilitate, the Mobile Designer must understand the functions of mobile iOS and have experience designing applications for mobile and iPad devices.

Qualifications:

Candidates to meet consideration for this immediately available project will have 2 or more years of experience designing for mobile and will have a strong interface design background. Candidates must be able to map wire frames and work with Developers to realize the user experience.

Ideally, the Mobile Designer will work on-site but the client will consider off-site arrangements. There is no front-end development work to do but related skill sets will be put to good use. Preference will be given if candidates have designed for financial or professional corporate clients.

Candidates must have a portfolio to display their work to date.
