Senior Mobile Engineer

Our client has created the backbone for data software to mobile device carriers throughout the world. They are a pre-IPO company that is seeking to make their offering within the next 12 months. They are looking for Senior Mobile Engineers with a solid background in creating robust mobile platforms. They have a fast paced work environment that is fueled by hiring the best talent in the Bay Area. The following skills are required for these positions.
• Hands-on programming experience on embedded or one or more of the following mobile application platforms: BREW, Symbian, Windows Mobile, LiMo, J2ME, Blackberry RIM and Android.
• Understanding of Wireless and standard Internet technologies, protocols and standards like SyncML, XML, Web services APIs.
• 4+ years of demonstrated proficiency in either C/C++ or Java based environments with strong understanding of Object Oriented Programming.
•Deep understanding of mobile client technologies and platforms and a deep understanding of mobile device limitations (e.g. system, networking, UI) and ability to design and implement software that fits within those constraints.
There is also an opportunity to provide technical leadership and in expertise in specific field or multiple fields and provide mentorship. They are looking to do interviews as soon as possible and have an urgent need to fill multiple similar positions.
