The scope is to design(wireframes will be provided by their in-house design team if required), plan project, deliver, test from a user perspective and for suitability to meet Apple(iOS)/Android standards, and have the app approved and loaded on both platforms(stores).
They have the existing web application/page which is being modified to suit all verticals, and their target is to launch the new web version along with mobile compatability(as per above scope) by 31st Oct 2011.
We will need resources having relevant iOS experience of at least 8-12months developing, testing and loading onto the iTunes App Store and Android Market, including following all guidelines of Apple and Android. They should also have the ability to understand the Development Environment Tools of MAC 10.6.x (Development Platform) and iOS 4.2 (SDK). The client will develop the web-service queries/links and provide for us to add to the app wherever data is to be polled from the database. The web app database is MySQL. The app also has access to Google API as a 3rd party API for certain features/functions.
