Mobile Software Developer Guru
at Custom Learning Designs, Inc. in Belmont, MA
We are seeking a freelance Software Developer to work alongside and guide other developers in creating HTML5 and native iOS mobile applications.
This opportunity entails a schedule of 3-5 days/week (25-35 hours) and could last from 4-8+ weeks. Initial training and most work would need to be on-site in our Belmont office, however some of the work could be done off-site.
Responsibilities
• Lead the development of mobile applications: define the architecture, assign programming tasks, review code, and monitor progress
• Be a guru to the other developers, answering any questions and addressing issues as they arise during the development process
• Create clear documentation for reference
Required Skills
• HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery
- Especially: knowledge of HTML5 video (including video conversation), gesture events, local storage, mobile frameworks, and designing for multiple devices
• Objective-C
• Experience publishing iOS applications for Enterprise distribution
• Knowledge of Dreamweaver, Xcode, mobile development debugging tools
• Must have been the lead architect on at least 3 mobile applications
- Should be able to provide examples of these applications; which should include both HTML5 and native iOS applications
• Expert knowledge creating applications using object oriented development patterns
• Must be a team player
