This is an exciting opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a new venture backed by a major internet company. Work will lead to a commercial product over the next year. You’ll have the opportunity to get into mobile programming on the iPhone, Android, and other devices. As a developer on our team you will use cutting-edge technology and help build an internet software system from concept to release and beyond.

Technologies on our Radar:

* Web Development o HTML5, CSS o Web Programming + JavaScript + REST # XML, JSON, SOAP + AJAX # jQuery or Prototype library knowledge + ATOM, RSS o Design Experience a Plus + Photoshop * Mobile Web Programming o WAP and Smartphone Browser Extensions o Experience Developing Websites for Blackberry or other Devices * Server Programming a Plus o PHP or ASP.NET o Java or C# Programming Experience + Object-Oriented design and principles + Familiarity with common design patterns + Web services programming o Relational Database + SQL queries o Internet Architecture + DNS and Routing + Network Security + Load Balancing and Scaling

Successful candidates will be inventive, entrepreneurial, enthusiastic developers who will design and engineer next-generation systems.

Qualifications:

* B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or related field preferred. * Appreciation for code aesthetics: beautiful, documented, tested. * Must quickly learn and utilize new technologies. * Passion to own a problem. * Willingness to help the team succeed as a whole. * Enthusiasm to do what it takes to meet deadlines and support a 24/7 service.
