Mobile Application Developer
at Elara Systems in Sacramento, California
Elara Systems Inc. (www.elarasystems.com) seeks a contract to potential full-time Mobile Software Engineer to work on-site in our Sacramento, CA studio. Please do not respond if you cannot work on-site. Much of the work will involve confidential technologies and products and will require an NDA.
At Elara Systems, we specialize in visual communication and new media creation in the form of 3D animation, motion graphics and interactive content. Much of the work we create is for technical, medical, pharmaceutical and industrial companies.
You will work closely with our team of designers developing and creating mobile applications leveraging our 3D content in a fast-paced, structured and proven B2B production-pipeline environment.
Elara Systems is dedicated to constantly re-investing in the latest equipment and software that enables us to deliver cutting edge graphics and visual imagery for our clients. The successful candidate will be expected to learn and adopt new technologies as they are developed.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
iOS, Objective C, C++, Cocoa, APIs, UI/UX, Object Oriented Design Patterns, web services, X Code, Mapping
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- 4+ years of professional software development
- 2+ years of iPhone and/or Android mobile development experience
- Strong grasp of the principles of Computer Science
- Experience with Cocoa Frameworks (iOS specifically a plus)
- A sense of design to go along with an ability to code
- Bachelor’s of Science in Computer Science or related field and/or equivalent experience
- Ability to work within a style established by the Client / Creative lead.
- Solid work ethic and a positive attitude in the face of challenging situations.
- Strong time management skills and organization.
