Android application - Live Tracking

Hi!
I am searching for an easy application.
When the application is started the user should login and he will receive from the server the allowed interval. When he is connected succesfully he can do select to start the livetracking. When the livetracking is started, he could stop the livetracking. Its as easy as it sounds...
There is already a java server (but we could do changes on it), so the connection with the server will be TCP.
I think this isn't such a huge project. I succeeded already in the connection and the GPS information, but I prefer to have a stable application.
