Mobile Architect / Developer
at Mike Murray in Boston MA
Our company is called TripCraft and we are a mobile startup in the travel industry. As you might know, Travel is one of the most exciting mobile markets available right now with incredible opportunities in both technology and business development. We already have some leading travel brands as customers, and are embarking on building out new capabilities and apps.
We are looking for an experienced mobile developer to lead a small team building mobile apps powered by cloud servers that handle content, marketing, and other business needs. The apps are all iPhone and iPad right now, but we need to push out Android and Blackberry versions later this year. The cloud platform is built with Linux, MySql, Ruby/Rails and HTML, and uses XML to interchange data with apps and other servers all over the world. So you should be very familiar with XML protocols and parsers, as this is a cornerstone of our performance and capabilities.
We have been working on the overall platform for over a year and need a good architect and leader to take over design and development. So if you are looking to get involved on the ground floor of an exciting company with lots of upside, and you like building cool apps backed by a platform architecture, then give us a shout. We prefer developers interested in a contractor-to-perm scenario to make sure we are a good fit for each other, but we will also work with contractors who wish to remain independent, or perm employees interested in getting equity in the business.
Check out our website at TripCraft.com and/or feel free to ask questions by sending us an eMail.
