msnbc.com is looking for an outstanding and experienced mobile application developer/designer. Working for the Labs team, you would being working with a small, agile team on established yet high-potential applications for breaking news. We work on iOS, Android, and Windows Phone 7 applications, so interest and experience in working on multiple platforms is a plus. Your work should demonstrate a combination of innovation and reality, an attention to detail, and solid execution of visual designs and intuitive user experiences.

Requirements:
- BS in computer science or equivalent relevant experience
- Knowledge of object-oriented design techniques, design patterns, etc.
- Experience developing, releasing, supporting, and evolving a mobile application
- Experience in integrating with REST/SOAP APIs
- UX design experience

Bonus points:
- Ability and interest to work on more than one platform, and do both design and development
- Attention to detail, and a passion for a clean and beautiful user experience
- Ability to work in a small team environment, as well as interest in taking ownership of an application
- Experience with SVN or Git source control tools
- Experience in Python/Django development
- Interest in a startup-like environment without the insane hours, uncertain pay/future, or goofy titles
