iPhone / Location-based applications developer
at MIT Mobile Experience Lab in Cambridge, MA
The MIT Mobile Experience Lab is looking for an iPhone Developer with specific skills
in Location-based applications. The candidate will be working in a multi-disciplinary
research group focusing on services fostering innovation on next generation mobile
social software and content distribution systems. The position starts immediately,
and it is initially for 6 months, with the possibility of transition to a long-term
position.
Location will be in Cambridge, MA.
MIT Mobile Experience Lab is looking for someone highly competent, who can contribute
to the Lab environment with passion, proactively suggesting creative solutions and
with a good design sensibility.
Requirements:
- iPhone or OS X development experience
- Extensive experience programming in Cocoa / Objective C
- Experience communicating with networked services (RESTful architectures, RPC)
Desirable:
- Knowledge of the intricacies of developing for mobile devices
- Ability to seamlessly integrate interaction design goals into application
- Comfortable working in a multidisciplinary environment, familiar with the design
process, collaborating with designers, and working with design tools such as
wireframes.
