Inventive, entrepreneurial, enthusiastic developers needed to design and engineer next-generation systems. Use cutting-edge technology. Must be willing and able to learn on the job. Help build an internet software system from concept to release and beyond. Opportunity to get into mobile programming on the iPhone, Android, and other devices.

Technical Knowledge:

* Server Programming o Distributed Systems + Experience with Scale-Out Approaches # Database clusters * Failover, Federated, and Replicated Approaches # Inter-Process Messaging # Distributed File Systems + Custom Server Processes o Internet Architecture + HTTP # REST, XML, JSON, SOAP + DNS and Routing + Network Security + Load Balancing and Scaling + Cloud Hosting + CDNs # Akamai, Amazon, Rackspace, etc. o Java or C# Programming Experience + Object-Oriented Design and Principles + Familiarity with Common Design Patterns + Web Services Programming o Database Programming + DDL, SQL, XPath + Relational and Document-based Design Paradigms + Query and Schema Optimization * Web and/or Mobile Device Development a plus o HTML5, CSS o Web Programming + JavaScript + REST # XML, JSON, SOAP + AJAX # jQuery or Prototype library knowledge + ATOM, RSS o Mobile Device Programming + Opportunity to Develop for the iOS and Android operating systems. o Design Experience a Plus + Photoshop * Mobile Web Programming o WAP and Smartphone Browser Extensions o Experience Developing Websites for Blackberry or other Devices

Qualifications:

* B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or related field preferred. * Appreciation for code aesthetics: beautiful, documented, tested. * Must quickly learn and utilize new technologies. * Passion to own a problem. * Willingness to help the team succeed as a whole. * Enthusiasm to do what it takes to meet deadlines and support a 24/7 service.
