Syrinx is looking for a passionate and creative Android Developer (rock star, ninja, whichever term is most appealing) to fill a senior position on our team. We are developer founded and developer run, and the key to our success is achievement through desire. We love what we do and would like a candidate who shares this mindset.

The ideal candidate(s) will possess Mobile Development experience across multiple platforms, specifically Android and Windows Mobile. iPhone experience is welcome and desirable but is secondary to the above. This position will participate in all aspects of the development lifecycle including requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing & release and deployment of mobile technologies

Candidates should be very comfortable working in a small, collaborative group/team and will know how to take initiative, be self-starting when needed and communicate progress effectively within the team structure.


Required Skills:

· Must be experienced with: Android, Windows Mobile iPhone, BREW, Symbian, J2ME, Server-Side, SDK, OOP, Object Oriented, Java EE, Linux Apache, MySQL, XML, Mobile Platform, Mobile Software Engineer, Mobile Developer, Software Engineer, Mobile Applications
· Minimum of 3 years of Mobile development
- Development experience in multiple mobile platforms, which include: iPhone, Android, Windows Mobile, Symbian, BREW, and J2ME
- Strong knowledge and experience with network based applications and protocols
· Must be articulate and have excellent communication skills
· Must be able to work independently with minimal direction
· Must have the ability to work and collaborate in a small team environment

Candidates must be willing to relocate to the Boston area.
