Who?
AppAvatar is a New Delhi based startup focussed on delivering smartphone applications to businesses as a service and also create a product line of their own. The core team already includes folks with proven credentials in business and technology and are seasoned entrepreneurs from the so called premier b schools like IIM Ahmedabad. What?
We are looking for people to develop smartphone applications for the Android platform. Required skillset for the role is:
- As if needs telling, experience with programming on the Android platform or Java is preferred
- Some cool projects(in any language/platform) to show off
- A temperament for "programming"
Why? The packages are at par with any comparable job opportunity across all sectors and we are cutting no ends to afford quality. It is a no-brainer to everyone right now that handheld devices will be the device of choice to a number of user segments(corporates, teenagers, gamers, etc) in a few year's time and a majority of software delivery will be for this platform. So why not be the one making them. Because it only seems right and logical to explore the new and equip oneself with the right kind of knowledge to be of value in the future.
If all that corporate speak doesn't seem enough, we have a well furnished, geeky enough office/lab to merit a visit. We have your attention?
